                      I have immersed myself in fashion and business for as long as I can remember—through sewing and designing clothes, exploring sustainable clothing distributors, running my own online clothing reselling shop, and studying the industry from both creative and analytical perspectives. Fashion has always been my way of expressing myself, and I’ve built on that personal passion with years of hands-on experience and formal education.
My background is grounded in both culture and business. My father, an immigrant from Uruguay, exposed me to global economic and social issues that align with my values in sustainability and ethical business. Traveling through Europe with my mother gave me an early look at how fashion differs across cultures, strengthening my understanding of global fashion dynamics. Moving from a small town in New Jersey to New York City expanded my worldview even further and gave me access to the heart of the fashion industry.

Professionally, I’ve spent over five years in retail, most recently growing through my corporate summer internship at Madewell, where I worked cross-functionally on projects involving media coverage, product deck organization, store openings, and new product development. This experience deepened my understanding of the business behind fashion and gave me real-world exposure to the strategic planning and creative execution needed to bring products to life. I also currently work on the sales floor at Madewell, which continues to keep me in touch with consumers and trends in real time.
Academically, I’ve completed coursework in Strategic Digital Marketing, Advanced Marketing Management, Advertising Campaigns, International Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Public Relations, Retail Management, Marketing Research, and Business Analytics. This combination of business education and industry experience has given me a well-rounded view of fashion’s role in culture, economics, marketing, and sustainability.
My goal is to continue using this foundation to make a meaningful impact in the fashion industry—blending creativity with business strategy to innovate and push the industry toward a more inclusive, sustainable, and globally aware future.
